    2. I'm sorry, but for now, we're focused only on translating World Masterpiece Theater series.
As for Nanatsu no Umi no Tico, that's a series that I would love to see translated, but we already promised to some people that our next project (after we finish Akage no Anne) would be Tom Sawyer no Bouken. And after that one, we're planing to translate Little Women 1. But theres a chance that Licca fansubs will sub Nanatsu no Umi no Tico sometime in the future. If that never happens, maybe then we will try to sub it.

    3. Okay, fine and what about 4shared

    4. Well, since rapid share deleted most of my files, I'll try 4shared.
      I'll start uploading this weekend.

    5. Rapidshare files now also need to be made public by the uploader, otherwise you get the error "Download permission denied by uploader". Can you update this? This way you won't need to upload all files!

  2. Glad to hear that Tom Sawyer and Little Women 1 are in the future plans. I think those are two that Licca won't touch due to the licensing situation in North America, if I recall correctly. There's so many interesting ones still to be done (Rascal, Bushbaby and Lassie come to mind) and I hope all get done some day. Tico would be nice to see finished - I know someone started it but then didn't finish. Can't remember who, although I do have them lurking somewhere on one of my drives.

    1. Lassie would be one I would really love to see. It's also one of the few to never have been adapted in French.

  3. "Meiken Lassie" was the only World Masterpiece Theater anime serie what has not been broadcasted outside of Japan.
I believe that this anime is not subtitled in any language.

  4. I wouldn't mind seeing Meiken Lassie subbed too. Plus it's only 26 episodes long so I don't think it'll be that hard to do.

  5. MJN are subbing Tico. I'm not sure if they've stopped but it's been a while since episode 16 came out.

About Tom Sawyer and Little Women 1.
Are these in any way under license in the US?
If they are, there's no license of the Japanese audio version. Only the English versions (both Tom Sawyer and Little Women have been dubbed).

Do you want the existing English subs for Little Women 1 from the Taiwanese DVDs? I have the 10 DVD set. The subs would have to be properly timed and someone with good knowledge of Japanese would be able to judge what parts to keep and what parts to replace. Interested?

Thanks for continuing subbing these series.

  6. Pretty sure at least the English version of Little Women is under license in the U.S., as it is currently being shown on a Christian cable channel. It is also quite likely that the Japanese version of Tom Sawyer is also under license in the U.S., as that was also being shown on a Japanese language cable channel as late as 2011. All of this is moot really, as I don't think the Silver Zero team is U.S. based, unlike Licca.

    3. My bad then, I was sure I read somewhere that you were from Brazil. It's not that I neglected Portugal or anything ;)

  8. Love your work! And I'm most looking forward to seeing you translate Tom Sawyer! It's one of my favourite series from my childhood ever. When desperately looking for an English (of Dutch, I'm from Holland) version, I once found the japanese Raws. If that would be of any help to you..but I assume you already got raws.

    1. Yes, we already have the raws for Tom Sawyer.
      But thank you anyway :)
